The rear end North America never got. The Sagitar is Volkswagen's Chinese-market Jetta, and its facelift received the IQ.Light treatment with a striking X-shaped illuminated signature that the North American Jetta was never offered. This is that exact conversion. It is a full four-piece set: the two outer tail lights plus two inner trunk-lid pieces. That second pair matters, because your Jetta currently has blank filler panels in those spots. Fitting the inner pieces turns the rear into a wide, connected light signature that stretches across the trunk rather than two lamps sitting at either end. Each set runs amber sequential turn signals, a startup animation when the lights come on, and white LED reverse lights in the inner housings. Choose VW OEM for genuine Volkswagen Sagitar units, or the ECA Aftermarket set for the same look at a considerably lower cost. Both come with the plug-and-play adapter harness that converts your North American wiring to accept them, no pinning, de-pinning, or cut wires. Coding via VCDS or OBDeleven is required to activate every function and clear fault codes, and since we run a coding service in-house we can do it in the same visit, which is the part most sellers leave you to sort out yourself. One important limit: this works on 2019 to 2023 cars only. From 2024 Volkswagen locked diagnostics behind SFD2, which nobody has unlocked yet, so the required coding simply cannot be performed on those cars, no matter who supplies the parts. Fitment: Fits the North American VW Jetta MK7 from 2019 to 2023 across the range, including S, SE, SEL, Sport and GLI. 2024 and newer cars are not compatible. Those run VW's SFD2 diagnostic protection, which has not been unlocked yet, so the coding this retrofit depends on cannot be performed. The parts would physically fit, but the lights could not be enabled, so we won't sell you a set that can't be finished. On a 2019-2023 car your factory tail lights come out and all four pieces go in using the included adapter harness. Message us your year and trim and we'll confirm before you order.
